Designing a watch is a delicate balance of aesthetics and engineering. Every Farasute timepiece begins not with a computer, but with a pencil and paper.

The Sketch Phase

Our design process starts with hand-drawn sketches. This is where ideas take their first form – the curve of a case, the placement of indices, the proportions of the dial. We sketch dozens of variations, exploring different directions before settling on the one that feels right.

Digital Refinement

Once a concept is chosen, it moves to digital design. Every dimension is precisely calculated: case diameter, lug width, dial texture, hand length. The goal is to create a watch that looks beautiful from every angle and wears comfortably on the wrist.

Prototyping

Next comes the prototype phase. We create physical samples to test ergonomics, legibility, and overall presence on the wrist. This is where we catch what digital design can’t reveal – how light interacts with the dial, how the crown feels between the fingers, how the watch sits under a cuff.

The Final Product

Only when every detail has been refined and tested does a design move to production. The result is a watch that feels intentional in every aspect – not assembled from a parts catalog, but designed as a cohesive whole from the very first sketch.
